Sep 13 Season Round Up: A quick check ont this seasons winners and losers in 2008.
Ladies: Champions: Basford
Men 1: Champions: Knypersley; Relegated: Stone A, Basford A
Men 2: Champions: Abbey View B; Also promoted: Stone B; Relegated: Endon B, Penkhull
Men 3: Champions: Stone C; Also promoted: Borough B; Relegated: Endon C, Florence D
Men 4: Champions: Abbey View E; Also promoted: Abbey View D
Mixed: Champions: Basford
Aug 17 Florence Survive in Mens 2: A 2-2 with Endon B ensured Florence C remain in Mens Division 2, whilst in the process condemning their opponents to Divison 3 tennis next season.
Aug 9 Knypersley Take Mens Title: Knypersley have ended Draycott's domination of Men's 1 by taking this years title. Elsewhere, Stone B and Abbey View B are promoted to Division 1, with Stone C promoted to Divsion 2. Abbey View E are the Men's Division 4 champions and Basford ran away with the Ladies division.
Aug 4 Last Week of Season: With just one week of season remaining there are still promotion and relegation battles to be sorted.
Jul 26 Basford Take Mixed Title: Basford claimed the first title of the year as they picked up the Mixed championship. Elsewhere there are exciting battles at the top and bottom of the tables:
Ladies: Basford or Abbey View A will take the title
Men 1: Draycott A or Knypersley A will be crowned champions, with Stone A and Basford A odds on favourites for the drop
Men 2: Abbey View B, Stone B or Draycott B to go up, Penkhull are doomed and either Endon B or Florence C will join them
Men 3: Any two from Borough B, Abbey View C or Stone C to be promoted, with Endon C and Florence D doomed
Men 4: Abbey View D, Abbey View E or Basford C to go up
Jul 20 Mixed Division - Alsager Pull Out: Alsager have pulled out of the Mixed Division, all their results are removed and table recalculated. Elsewhere there are exciting battles at the top and bottom of most divisions as the season enters the final furlong
Jul 13 Tennis at St Dominics School, Stone: Celia Clewlow, who organises tennis bookings at St Dominics School, Stone has sessions free during both the week and weekends. Email Celia if you are interested.
Jul 6 Close at Top and Bottom: It's close at the top and bottom of the divisions, with many promotions and relegations still tough to call
Jun 26 Leagues Taking Shape: With half of the league campaign completed, all divisions are taking shape as the fight for titles, promotion and relegation becomes clearer.

Jun 15 Basford Head Ladies and Mixed: Basford lead both the Ladies and Mixed Divisions, whilst there is a familiar story at the top of Men 1 with Draycott A and Knypersley A battling it out. Abbey View B and E are going well in Divisions 2 and 4 respectively.
Jun 8 Abbey View Season Started Well: Abbey View are going well in a number of divisions as the season starts to take shape.
Jun 1 Knypersley A Going Well: Knypersley A and Abbey View A have made good starts in Men Division 1, whilst Alsager A are going well in Men 2. Borough B are setting a good pace in Men 3 as are Abbey View E in Men 4 with Endon and Abbey View making encouraging starts in the Ladies and Mixed respectively.
May 26 Early Results: As the first week of results start to drift in, Men Division 1 has seen quite a number of tight games, whilst in Division 3 Borough B have got off to a useful start. Florence F are now back in Men Division 4.
May 5 Fixtures Online: Fixtures for the new season are now online. Florence F have withdrawn from Men Division 4. As always please send in results as soon as possible.
May 5 Basford Tournament: Basford host a Mixed Doubles Tournament on Sunday 29th June - download the Flyer for more details.
Apr 4 Fixtures 2008: Fixtures 2008 for the new season can be downloaded in Excel for all Divisions. Check out who you've got first game of the season. I'll be posting the fixtures on the site in the next couple of weeks.

Introduction and Site Guide:
Welcome to the website of the North Staffordshire and South Cheshire City & Suburban Tennis League. The league has now been online since March 2000 and by following the links situated on the left hand side of the page you can take a look back at how the league was started and has developed over the years. Clubs have a chance to provide information about themselves, such as facilities they can offer and membership details. For each of the mens four divisions, the ladies two divisions and the mixed division there are details of up and coming fixtures, a comprehensive results service, and up to date league tables. The three cup competitions are also covered in similar detail. A list of previous winners of the leagues and cups is also available, and in the event of any misunderstandings during a match a copy of the leagues rules and regulations is provided. All the results and tables from the seasons 2000 to 2005 can be found in the archive section. There are also a number of links to other tennis websites.
