Basford B crowned the champions of Division 2, to round off a highly successful season for the club
having already claimed the Division 1 trophy.
||Titles For Basford A and Abbey View C:
Basford A have secured the Division 1 championship with a week to spare, whilst Abbey View C secured the Division 3
title with a thumping 4-0 victory over nearest challengers Endon B. Not such good news for Florence B and Alsager B
as they are relegated to Division 3, whilst Abbey View A and Florence C meet in the final week of the season
to determine which of them will be relegated to Division 2.
||Alsager A Relegated:
Alsager A have been relegated from Division 1 with 2 matches still remaining. Basford A need just 5

so that the organisers can have an idea of how many teams are likely to be playing.
||Basford A Blow Title Race Wide Open:
Basford A blew the Division 1 title race wide open with a 4-0 thrashing of long time leaders Draycott A, and move
level on points with the reigning champions. In a good week for Basford, their B team beat nearest rivals
Florence B to move 2 points clear at the top of Division 2, whilst Abbey View C are on course to land the Division 3
championship as they are now well clear at the top of the table.
Florence B and Basford B are locked at the top of Division 2 with identical records, so could this weeks
clash between the 2 teams decide where the title ends up?
