Final results are now in, congratulations to all the league winners and a big thanks to all
of those who submitted results during the course of the season.
||Leek A Take Division 2 Title:
Leek A clinched the Division 2 championship as they remained unbeaten for the 10 game season.|

The final results of the season are coming in, with just the winners of Division 2 to be determined.|
||Championships For Endon B and Draycott C:
Endon B remained unbeaten and clinched the Division 3 title, and Draycott C took the Division 4 trophy, with the loss
of just 4½ and 4 points respectively.|
||Florence A Take Division 1 Title:
Florence A clinched the Division 1 title, winning for the 8th time this season, having dropped just 3 points. Draycott C
are almost certain to win Division 4.|
||As You Were:
Pretty much unchanged positions from last week, with a possibility that the first title will be decided this week.
A win for Florence A will secure them 1st place.|
||Draycott C and Leek C Battle At Top of Division 4:
Draycott C and Leek C appear to be the two teams who will battle it out for the top spot in Division 4, with Leek B and Florence B
involved in a similar tussle in Division 2. Florence A have a massive 9 point lead in Division 1, whilst Endon B hold a very healthy 4½ point lead
in Division 3. Apologies to Basford B for showing an incorrect number of points in the table - corrected now.|
||Season Reaches Half Way:
With the season at its half way point, there are still plenty of points to play for in the second half of the season.|
||Good Start by Leek:
Leek teams have started the season well, with both their teams, unbeaten and sitting at the top of Division 2, whilst their
C team heads Division 4 with Draycott C. Florence a continue their strong start in Division 1 and meet nearest challengers Endon A on
Wednesday, whilst Endon B also maintain their convincing start in Division 3, and also meet their closest rivals, Basford C this week.|
||Tight in Division 2:
Just 3 points separate top from bottom in Division 2, whilst Division 4 also looks like it could be a tight league.|
||Maximum Points for Florence A and Endon B:
Florence A and Endon B maintained their 100% records in Division 1 and 3 respectively, whilst Division 2 looks
like it will be a tight affair based on early results. Endon C have made a good start in Division 4 taking 6 points
from the first 2 games.|
||First Results In:
Nice to be able to report on some tennis results, as Florence A kicked off with a maximum return in Division 1.
Both Leek teams secured wins in Division 2, with Endon B and Basford C achieving full points in Division 3.
Draycott C and Alsager C also got off to flying starts in Division 4 as they also won without dropping any points.|
||Division 3 Fixture Change:
On 19th May, Alsager B will be at home to Draycott B. Fixtures in the word document updated to take
into account this slight change.|
||A Warm Welcome Back:
In keeping with the rest of the nation moving towards normality, league tennis makes a welcome return in 2021.
Featuring 4 smaller leagues, with no relegation or promotion, the season starts in the week commencing 17th May.
